Fall Festive Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yup! it's that time of year when my heart overflows with joy and my baking urges take over. Something about the Fall just makes me want to bake all the time. I don't know if it's the chilly weather outside and leaves changing that makes me want to do it or what but I love it so much and happy to share with you guys some of my favorite recipes this season.
Today I'm going to share with you my dark chocolate chip recipes. It's literally the best chocolate chip recipe you will have so keep it handy. You're going to need it this season.
To add a little festive flare to this recipe I separated my finished batch of cookie dough into 3 separate bowls. I used food coloring to 2 of the bowls to make the orange and brown colors you see. I also didn't add the dark chocolate chips till AFTER the colors were created in the batter. Just makes it easier to mix.
Simply take a little bit of batter in each bowl and roll into a ball. You can make them as big or as little as you want.
Hardest part is taking them out of the oven and putting them on a cooling rack and not eating one.
Your finished product will look like this. Perfectly golden brown and the added colors make it the perfect treat this Fall for your kids lunches or just to display on your countertop and sneak one as you walk by. :)
I hope you guys enjoy this recipe as much as I do. Again, it's the best recipe you'll find so keep it close by.
